Texas Panhandle Water Conservation Symposium at Amarillo Civic Center, February 28

Date: February 28, 2018

Time: 9:00 am

Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District’s mission statement is to develop, promote and implement water conservation, augmentation and management strategies to protect water resources for the benefit of the citizens, economy and environment of the District. Previous symposiums were considered a huge success for the Panhandle region. Not only were there over 300 people in attendance, but we were able to strive towards our mission statement by educating our communities on many areas of water use and conservation.

The 4th Biennial Texas Panhandle Water Conservation Symposium is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, 2018. This year we are partnering with the City of Amarillo and covering a variety of water-related topics affecting the municipal, agriculture and public sectors. The day’s agenda will be similar to the 2016 symposium; we will have a full day of innovative water conservation strategies and will bridge the gap between all water users.
