Amarillo Man Runs Over Girlfriend With Truck

An argument led to a 26 year old Amarillo woman getting run over and killed by her boyfriend, according to a report in the Amarillo Globe.

Michael Buse, a 43 year old hothead from Amarillo, is now being charged with murder. Daisy Strout’s body was found crushed in the Chisum Building’s parking lot at 4:20 am Sunday. An investigation revealed that she was run over at a low speed, and an autopsy showed that her upper body was completely crushed by the Chevy Avalanche.

Molotov Cocktail Thrown from Interstate 27

Amarillo Fire Marshals are investigating an incident in which someone threw a Molotov cocktail from their vehicle on Interstate 27.

The incendiary contraption burst into flames near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Taylor street just 50 feet from an apartment complex. Nothing was set ablaze and no one was injured.
