Four people were taken to a local hospital after a gruesome crash on West 34th Avenue late Sunday evening.
The wreck occurred when a man traveling westbound in a pickup slammed into another truck and ran it off the road. The other truck rolled and landed in the front yard of a house on Rusk Street, prompting three of the occupants to be rushed to a local hospital. Meanwhile, the instigating pickup truck kept going another block and eventually ran off the road, smacking a utility pole. The driver was hospitalized with injuries listed as serious, while the severity of the injuries of the other three haven’t been revealed.
It is unknown whether or not booze or excessive speed are to blame for the wreck. An investigation is pending.
