Lubbock School Fundraiser Features Sarah Palin as Speaker

Sarah Palin is slated to be a speaker at the annual fundraiser of Lubbock Christian School on January 24. She will also be appearing at a reception at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

To date, over half of some 1,400 tickets have been sold to corporate sponsors, according to the school’s superintendent, Peter Dahlstrom.

The price tag for a ticket? $2,000 for a pack of 10 tickets for the lower levels and $25,000 for 10 at the highest levels. Aside from being closer to the stage, a higher level ticket will get you a photo op with the former Alaska Governor.

School officials say individual tickets will most likely not be sold. They’re also not allowed to divulge how much Palin is being paid for the speech and appearance.

While the school has ameliorated with new technology and upgrades lately, Dahlstrom says their ultimate goal is to remove all debt and make an emergency fund. He believes the fundraiser and the presence of Palin will be a great help towards advancing that goal. The last big-ticket speaker the school had was Tom Landry in 2005.

Another great school fundraiser for Sarah. I don’t think she will make it as President, but she sure stirs up the democrats and media – especially the progressives. They are really mean, even worse than they say republicans are, especially to the Tea Party, who are people just like you and me.
